Description
We went to an overcrowded shelter about a week and a half ago, and found a pit bull and a cat, both scheduled for euthanasia within the next 2 hours. The dog was cowering in his kennel, but he seemed very sweet and his tail wagged furiously when we got him out. The cat was filthy and hissed at us in fear, and we just couldnt leave her there. After much needed baths and even more needed love for a few days, these two have adjusted fantastically and are now ready for new homes. We have been calling the pit bull mix "North" and the cat "Purrl", but the names can change if the new owners wish. Here are their individual information that an adopter would be interested in:

Temperament: This dog was friendly from the start. He is sweet and quiet, but with quite a lot of energy when he gets wound up. He would probably play fetch for days if someone made that possible, but when time is up he just wants to cuddle with his person. He seems to be one of those dogs who gets mostly attached to one person, but he has been friendly to everyone else as well.

Temperament: Purrl is a shy cat with strangers, but after getting familiar can be highly affectionate. She would be the type of cat that hides when guests come over, but starts peeking around the corner after a while and by the time the day is over shes sleeping in the guests lap.
